Okane
Traditional Japanese sushi with bold contemporary flavors. Three experiences under one roof downtown, from the Sweet Spot dessert counter to a chef-led omakase counter and a rooftop bar.
We build restaurants worth crossing town for. Soup dumplings folded by hand, sushi cut to order, Korean barbecue over live fire, and more on the way.
4 open now, 2 on the way. Each one runs its own kitchen, its own hours and its own bookings. This is where to find them.

Shanghai soup dumplings folded by hand every day. Xiaolongbao, pan-fried pork buns and braised beef noodle soup in a contemporary room on Sidney Street.
Tableside grilling and hot pot built for a table full of people. Marinated cuts, banchan and the kind of long, loud dinner that runs late.
Classic Fuzhou cooking, a regional Chinese kitchen built on long-simmered stocks, seafood and technique rather than heat.
A laminated-dough bakery and pastry counter. Croissants in the morning, dessert in the afternoon, two locations planned.
An all-you-can-eat room built around international stations, local specialties and fresh seafood. Opening at The Waterfront.
A restaurant group is only ever as good as its worst night. So we run each kitchen as its own operation, with its own chef and its own standards, rather than flattening six concepts into one playbook.
Some of these are brands we built. Two of them we operate under license from restaurant groups whose reputation was earned long before we opened a Pittsburgh location. We say which is which.
Our restaurants sit in the Southside, downtown and Homestead. That means neighborhood partnerships, charity dinners and tastings that put the room to work for something other than covers.
We hire across the group, including at the restaurants that have not opened yet. Fill in one form, attach a resume, and it reaches the hiring manager for all of them. Applications go straight to our hiring manager. Expect to hear back within a week.
Our open restaurants are in Pittsburgh. Okane is downtown at 245 Fourth Ave, Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings is on Sidney Street in the Southside, and Top Pot Korean BBQ and Mindushengyan are also open. Opa Fé Bakery and Opal Grand Buffet are on the way. Every address and phone number we have is on the Locations page.
Yes, across the group and at the restaurants that have not opened yet. One application on our Careers page reaches the hiring manager for every property, so you only have to fill it in once. You can attach a resume.
Reservations are handled by each restaurant rather than by the group. Open the restaurant you want on the Locations page and use its own booking link or phone number.
No. We own and operate some of them outright, and we operate Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings and Mindushengyan under license from those brands. Where that applies, it is stated on the restaurant's page.
Availability depends on the restaurant and the size of the party. Send us a message through the Contact page with the date, the headcount and which room you have in mind, and we will point you to the right manager.
